You shouldn't have to guess. The free reader is free forever, and Tomen Plus comes with a 30-day trial — no card, nothing to cancel. If you've paid and something's wrong, we'll make it right.
Tomen's core reader is free, with no account needed. And when you create an account you get 30 days of Tomen Plus free — no card required. Every premium feature, the full month, and nothing to remember to cancel: when the trial ends you simply go back to the free reader, unless you choose to buy. So by the time you pay, you've used exactly what you're paying for.
Tomen Plus is a one-time purchase sold by Polar, our merchant of record — Polar is the seller for your transaction and handles billing, taxes, and refunds under its policies and your local consumer-protection laws. Depending on where you live, you may have statutory refund rights (for example, EU/UK consumers). Tomen LLC, an Idaho limited liability company in the United States, grants the license your purchase unlocks.
If you'd like a refund — for instance, the app isn't working for you and we can't resolve it — email feedback@tomen.app with the email address you used to purchase. We'll help you, and where needed coordinate the refund through Polar. You can also contact Polar directly using the receipt they emailed you.
If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the associated Tomen Plus license is deactivated, and premium features return to the free tier. Your books, and everything on your devices, are untouched — they were never ours to hold.
